IPM IPM or integrated pest management is implemented with a three step approach of 1) prevention 2) monitoring 3) control. Education regarding soils focuses on supplements to maximize the soils ability to support healthy plant life. Monitoring is a philosophy of not utilizing control measures unless there is a visible weed that needs corrective action. By implementing the first two steps of prevention and monitoring, it has been our experience that the use of control materials can be reduced by up to 90%.

Lime or Gypsum Treatments  The density of your turf is reflected by the depth and density of your root system. The health of your root system is as good as the health of your soils. Core Aeration  Sufficient oxygen in the soil is vital to root development and over all turf density and health. Seven finger sized holes per square foot will instantly fill with oxygen and benefit the health and density of your turf.
Overseeding To maintain density, continuously dying grass blades need to be replaced by regular overseeding. To improve seed to soil contact and germination rates, we recommend our overseeding directly after a core aeration.
